Romney gained 55 delegates, bringing him to a total of 911. He needs just 233 more for the nomination.
He won last night in North Carolina, Indiana and West Virginia.

Earlier yesterday, Romney attacked President Obama by evoking former President Bill Clinton.
“President Clinton, remember, he said the era of big government was over. President Obama brought it back with a vengeance,” said Romney, who advanced to a 49-44 percent lead over Obama in a Rasmussen Reports daily poll.

Meanwhile, Sen. Richard Lugar (R-Ind.) lost a primary contest, ending his career in the Senate after six terms.
